GLOBAL PERCEPTIONS AND RECEPTIONS OF ANCIENT HISTORY Zagreb, 3rd – 6th/7th November 2026
We are pleased to announce that the first international conference of the perceptions and receptions of Ancient History will take place in Zagreb (Croatia) from 3rd to 6th/7th November 2026. The conference will be organized by the Faculty of Croatian Studies (University of Zagreb), Archaeological Museum in Zagreb and the Department of Archaeology of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (University of Zagreb).
We would like to invite all scholars with interest in the research of various topics related to with the perception and reception of ancient history from prehistory to the late antiquity, from the medieval times to the modern era. The main topics of the conference will include:

The registration fee will include: Sessions Conference materials Coffee breaks Conference publication (the Book of Abstracts and other conference materials) Conference Dinner (at the last evening of the conference) Guiding tour around Zagreb in English Free visit to the several museums in Zagreb (the list will be announced in the final programme of the conference, late September 2026).

Please submit the abstracts to the gprah.zg2026@fhs.unizg.hr. Deadline for submission of abstracts 31st January 2026. Notification of acceptance of your paper will be sent not later than 15th March 2026.
How to write abstract: Abstracts should not exceed 250 words. Abstract should be written at Times New Roman 12, space 1,5, justified. Title (1st row), name and affiliation (2nd row) – both center. Below abstracts: 5-10 keywords.
